It’s a film that contains everything you could possibly wish for in a rom-com. Beautifully cheesy and completely predictable but wildly fun. It’s a feel-good movie with a great cast. Instead of trying to evolve the genre, the film sticks to the roots creating a nostalgic 80s classic feel. Sometimes old is better.

I’m not that person who loves a rom-com, if it came down to it I’d prefer to watch everything but. However, this movie is something I can see myself watching multiple times. It’s entertaining from start to finish, the characters are loveable and you get really invested in their stories. We all need to watch a cheesy predictable movie every now and again to cheer ourselves up. If they stopped making them we’d be lost. You can’t help but love them, in small doses.
