I know I’m late to the party. Sadly, I never got to see this film at the cinema and now I’m full of regret. It would have been fantastic to see it on the big screen. Anyway, I still really enjoyed the film and thought the CGI and Wakanda looked beautiful. The world definitely needed this film and the MCU needed it. One thing the MCU has always lacked is diversity but they’re slowly changing that by bringing in the Black Panther instalment and the Captain Marvel film.
Shuri, played by Letitia Wright, plays Black Panther’s sister and is possibly my favourite character from this film. She was so normal and funny and bubbly. She was one of the most entertaining aspects of the film.
I remember being first introduced to Black Panther in Civil War and I really liked the character so the fact that they made a film dedicated to him was really exciting. For me, the film isn’t the best MCU film, nor my favourite. Unpopular opinion, I know but I have to be honest. That’s not to say I didn’t like the film though, in fact, I loved it. I loved the characters especially. Black Panther is a welcome addition to the Avengers family. I can’t wait to see if they bring out a sequel.
