Obviously, the hype around this film was hard to ignore, I came so close to watching it at the cinema and I’m so glad I never got the time to because I really didn’t enjoy it. It has similarities to Avatar and I hated that. I think it’s grown up animation films that I just can’t stand.
I get why people would love this film. I feel like I’m the only person in the world that didn’t like this film. I just didn’t care about the avatars. I cared more about the people and who they were outside of the game. Every time it cut back to them inside the game I lost interest. The movie would have been more enjoyable for me if it stayed out of the game.
