If you’ve seen Heathers and American psycho, then welcome to its hybrid. A delicate and elegant tale of two troubled teenagers who bond in the most unusual way. Amanda is an outcast with her own personality and attitude that is like no one else’s. Lily is a posh and well presented polite teenager.
Together, these teenagers become hard and emotionless in their journey which explores what humans are capable of. Without empathy, they go down a dark path in this psychological thriller that must be seen when you’re in the right mood for something dark and twisted.
Delightful performances are all around. Anya Taylor-Joy and Olivia Cooke are rising stars that already have incredible films under their belt. Then there’s the lovely belated Anton Yelchin, gone too soon but delivers one heck of a final performance. He will be missed.
An incredible and different film that targets a niche audience. A must-watch for fans of these actors and actresses and any fans of Yelchin. See his final performance now.
