The Good Neighbour (2016)

Plot: Two rebellious teenagers set up surveillance on an unsuspecting neighbour with terrifying consequences.

Director: Kasra Farahani

Starring: James Caan, Keir Gilchrist, Logan Miller, Lili Reinhart, Anne Dudek.

The only reason I watched this film was because it has Keir Gilchrist in it and he stars in the Netflix show Atypical and that show is fantastic. I think he’s a really talented and promising young actor.

However, the film was diabolical. The trailer made it seem promising because it seemed like there was going to be a brutal murder or something really sinister was going to happen. Unfortunately, most of the film is spent watching these two kids watching this old man. Nothing happens. It’s very boring.

I think I need to start reading reviews before I watch a film because I’ve always been a believer in not listening to reviews because everyone has their own opinions about films. There have been times where a film has had a lot of bad reviews but I have enjoyed it and vice versa. If I’d have read the reviews on this film then I might not have watched it and have saved myself the time I have wasted watching it. It’s honestly so awful, don’t watch it.

Dreadful!

Again a shame to hear I love James Caan. If you want to spend some time laughing your butt off watch James Caan Sally Field and Jeff Bridges in Kiss Me Goodbye it is one of the funniest heartwarming stories you will ever watch and James Caan just ain’t hard to look at in it.
