If you’re a fan of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre films, then this is like a must-see for you. However, I’m a fan of those films and I wasn’t completely happy with this film. It wasn’t as good as I thought it was going to be. When it ended, I just felt like it was a bit of a pointless film. I like that I have now seen with my own eyes, how he became who he is and what he was doing before he was Leatherface but it was just a bit boring.
It’s kind of ruined things for me now. I wish I hadn’t of seen it, I liked the mystery surrounding this killer, seeing this earlier side to him just made me feel bored of the character, I guess. They should have just left it alone.
I’d say to people to not watch it but I think people will be too curious about it. I am warning you though, it will probably ruin the villain for you. I’ve been really looking forward to the Jigsaw film but after seeing Leatherface, it’s put me off a little. Hopefully Jigsaw won’t ruin the character for me.
A missable prequel!
