It’s a fun ride. I love Zac Effron in comedies. I never want him to do any other genre now, he’s perfect when he’s being funny. There are some terrible comedies out there but the way I see it is, if it makes you laugh, then it’s doing its job and this film definitely does its job. Try not to laugh out loud because it is impossible. There are so many hilarious moments in this film.
He seems like the worse grandpa ever but he isn’t. He is doing Effron’s character a favour, it just takes him the full length of the film to realise it. De Niro is so cute in this film but he’s looking really old now.
I really enjoyed the film. If you’re into silly comedies then definitely watch this one. It has some gags and the relationship between Effron and De Niro’s characters is very amusing.
A funny comedy!
