It’s the type of film that you watch and you become so suspicious of everyone involved in the story. There’s a death and it is just the start of a whirlwind of events that lead to a thrilling twist towards the end of the film. It’s like, who do you trust? I didn’t want to trust the psychiatrist played by Jude Law. I was very suspicious of him. All the characters are compelling and it is an exciting film to watch.
I love Rooney Mara, I think she is an incredible actress. Her portrayal of the main character in this film was extraordinary and captivating. I admire her so much. Her ability to change the characters emotions so suddenly was amazing to watch and quite scary.
The set up of the film was really good because it starts off with blood in an apartment and then takes you to three months earlier. Who’s dead? That’s a question that doesn’t stay unanswered for too long. Its running time is a perfect fit for the story. It isn’t too long and it isn’t too short. The ending is satisfying and overall it’s a well-executed film.
A must watch for thriller fans!
