Don’t Hang Up

Plot: A group of teenagers play pranks on households by ringing them up pretending something bad is happening. However, they’re soon full of regret when their own game is turned against them.

Year: 2016

Director: Alexis Wajsbrot, Damien Macé.

Starring: Gregg Sulkin, Garrett Clayton, Sienna Guillory, Jack Brett Anderson and Bella Dayne.

This film is surprisingly good. It’s got a short running time which means the majority of the film is full of drama. The film is definitely a huge lesson for anyone who plays dangerous games with people. These teenagers play pranks on innocent families but it goes terribly wrong and becomes the cause of two deaths. What the man did to get revenge was obviously the wrong way to go about it but people need to learn that they can’t just mess with people’s lives without consequences.

There is a really confusing bit towards the end of the film which I am still confused about but I’m just going to forget about it because overall it was a really good and entertaining film. The premise is really good and I thought the acting wasn’t too bad either. If you’re a horror fan or a fan of films that involve teenagers messing around and getting into trouble then watch this film. It’s going to be up there on one of my best films of 2017.

Rating: 7/10.
