This film was so good and it’s so interesting. I would recommend it to everyone. It’s in a different language which means you’ll have to read the subtitles but it’s honestly too interesting to miss. It made me quite angry as well. The young girl who accuses her teacher of sexual abuse is only like 6 so it really intrigued me to discover that she knew what she was talking about. She was so young, at that age, I didn’t understand anything that she did but she seemed to know what sex was or she knew enough to accuse someone of rape. I found the film extremely shocking.
I don’t think I have anything bad to say about the film in terms of the way it was shot and the acting. It was outstanding and really artistic. This is one of those films that will stay with me forever just because it was beautiful and shocking. The atmosphere throughout the scenes was chilling.
It ended with a massive cliffhanger as well which is really frustrating but it kind of proves as well that this accusation is going to stay with him for the rest of his life.
The bit that made me so angry was the fact that she was lying. How can a girl that young lie about something like that? It really annoyed me and I felt so sorry for the man because he was so innocent in this case and his whole life got turned upside down. His dog ended up being murdered as a result and he was beaten repeatedly. It was horrific. But all this made it a really good watch because you just can’t believe what you’re seeing. In the real world, something like this is going to stay with you forever. People are always going to be wary around him even though he’s cleared because he’ll always be the guy that was accused of raping a little girl. It’s just such an insight, I’m glad they made this film. I hope people watch it.
It ended with a massive cliffhanger as well which is really frustrating but it kind of proves as well that this accusation is going to stay with him for the rest of his life. People aren’t going to let it go, there are always people who are going to be suspicious and will stop at nothing to protect their children.
It’s just such an insightful film, I’m glad they made it. I hope people watch it and realise that by falsely accusing someone of rape, it can ruin their entire lives. This is such an important film, please watch it.
