How To Get Away With Murder: Season 3 Episode 3

Bonnie is alive!

This week we find out that Bonnie is alive but also there is another dead body in the house fire. At the end of the episode the firemen reveal that the body they found in the house has a pulse but in the promo, for next week’s episode, it appears that this person might actually be dead too. This means we have two people dead and no idea who either of them is. This makes everything even more exciting, I just hope when they’re revealed they’re shocking and not a letdown. I’m a bit gutted that Bonnie is alive as I’m not a huge fan of hers ever since she killed Rebecca. She’s just a bit boring, especially this season. I feel like the character doesn’t really have a significant role at the minute.

We’re finally introduced to Laurel’s father, Mr Castillo because she and Annalise want to find out where Frank is and he can do that as he has a lot of money and the intel. This reveals more about Laurel’s past. Her father left her mother when she was suffering from a mental illness. Laurel was also kidnapped at 16 and her father refused to pay the ransom to get her back. Frank finally makes contact with Laurel but she puts the phone down assuming her father can record what he’s saying. I feel like Frank should go to prison now. He’s done so much bad stuff and Annalise tried to have him killed. He needs to stay gone and not come back. I kind of want Laurel to forget about Frank now, I like her friendship with Wes and they came closer than friends a while ago. I kind of like the idea of them being together now.

This was another excellent episode. I liked the trial they dealt with this week as well. It was a very stressful one and they were defending a killer again. This leads Annalise into slapping her client which is going to come back and bite her in the but judging by next week’s promo. I don’t understand how she’s still a lawyer, to be honest. She’s always getting into trouble.
