*SPOILERS*

This film really annoyed me because the shark didn’t do anything. It just floated around them for ages. It created no tense moments. I just wanted it to attack but it took forever for the first person to die. The characters were so boring. There was no depth to them and why did they have to make it so that the main two characters got together. They didn’t need that. It was just predictable. There was nothing special or different about this film. The pace of this film was just too slow for me and the characters were so unlikeable. The only character I liked died at the end. I just felt angry watching it. I think I’ll just stick to Jaws in future.

This is a really negative review but I just did not enjoy this film at all, it was just frustrating. The shark wasn’t even scary and to be honest, the acting wasn’t all that great. The two girls just spent the whole time scared and screaming which was annoying. I understand that it’s going to be scary in that situation but if there’s a shark about surely you’d want to stay quiet instead of drawing attention to yourself. This film is only memorable for how much I disliked it.

Rating: 3/10.
