After the birth of their first child, Mac (Seth Rogen) and Kelly (Rose Byrne) make a move to the suburbs where they find themselves living next to a sorority house. They try and get along with the leader, Teddy (Zac Effron) but it doesn’t go to plan when the couple calls the cops on them. This starts world war III between the two houses. Also starring Dave Franco, Halston Sage, and Christopher Mintz-Plasse.
I went to see this one at the cinema and I absolutely loved it. I thought it was brilliantly written, the humour was great and the cast was exceptional. Zac Effron is hilarious as a frat boy with all the good looks but who is exceptionally uneducated and has no common sense. That’s what makes his character so endearing. Rogen and Byrne work so well together, I love the chemistry that they both have. Their relationship is really funny to watch, they’re both amazing comedy actors.
Obviously, this film is a comedy so it can’t be taken seriously. If you’re looking fo bizarre stupidity and a good laugh then this is for you. The airbag scene is by far the best and the funniest. There’re so many good moments in this film where you just laugh out loud.
Check back tomorrow when I will be reviewing Bad Neighbours 2 🙂
