I got to see this film before it’s release at the cinema as well as meeting the Director Ben Wheatley and the Cinematographer. I thought the film was fantastic. It’s adapted from a novel and it was stunningly shot. Tom Hiddleston was perfect for this role. The film is like a period drama but also a futuristic Sci-fi so it doesn’t make sense but that’s what’s so good about it. There was a lot of sex and violence. It was just very entertaining throughout. I felt the film was very strong and it’s message is very clear. It’s definitely comical in places. So much detail was put into this film, I think it’s definitely a film for aspiring filmmakers to watch as there’s so much to pay attention to.
